Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed
“Our goal is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.”
Karmel provides AWANA as a way to encourage preschool and grade school children to grow in their faith in God. AWANA is available for children ages 3 years through 6th grade. Children are divided into 3 different groups:
Cubbies ⇒ (Preschool – through 3 years of age by September 1st)
Sparks ⇒ (Kindergarten – 2nd grade)
T&T Club ⇒ (3rd – 6th grade)
Join us every Wednesday night (September through April) from 6:20 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.!
What Happens at AWANA?
The evening starts out with a large group meeting (everyone except Cubbies who go directly to their classroom) for Flag ceremony and prayer and then continues with the individual clubs meeting for Council Time, Game Time and Handbook Time. Children are supervised at all times.
Council Time ⇒ Singing, prayer and lesson/story time
Game Time ⇒ Organized games lead by our game leaders
Handbook Time ⇒ Small groups meet with their leaders to recite verses, review other book work done during the week, talk about the Council Time lesson and discuss individual prayer requests.
